Allergy Therapy

Thousands of people suffer from allergies. They could be affected by food, pet dander, pollen, mold or other substances. Allergy therapy is designed to help reduce the sensitivity to allergens.

Allergens are substances that cause the body to react in a certain way that is different from normal. When you sniff pet dander, it may just smell bad to you. The body doesn’t perceive anything wrong with it. For someone with an allergy to it, it can spark a reaction.

You may begin to sneeze, turn red or get swollen eyes. This is the body’s reaction to the introduction of the pet dander. It releases histamine to fight the invader. It is the histamine which causes these different reactions in a person who has allergies.

Some people with allergies can have an anaphylactic reaction. Here, coming into contact with allergens can lead to a deadly response by the body. An anaphylactic reaction can lead to the airway being cut off, severe swelling and death if not treated right away. These individuals carry an epi-pen as a first response to stop the reaction until they can get to medical care.

If you are human, you have made mistakes before. Some of these mistakes can lead to feelings of guilt. But, you don’t have to live with guilt. There are ways to move on with your life.

What is guilt? It is best described as the feeling of inadequacy that follows a mistake or a blunder. Sometimes, it isn’t even a blunder to anyone other than to the person feeling guilty.

It is not rare to make mistakes. We are all capable of it. But what follows that mistake? If someone else is hurt physically, mentally or financially, you may feel a sense of responsibility to make it right. This is the beginning of guilt.
