Varicosities may appear in any vein. If they are found in the rectum they are typically called hemorrhoids. In most cases, they are found in the thighs and lower legs. Not to mention, women are usually more vulnerable to them than men.
The objective of the venous system in the body is to return deoxygenated blood to the heart. Waste materials that are grabbed during the process are exchanged for oxygen in the lungs. When something disrupts the circulation of the blood it can result in varicose veins.

Depression is a disorder that is characterized by several different signs and symptoms. It has been associated with being down or experiencing the blahs, but it goes more deeply than that. It could be termed a bout of despair that continues on for a more prolonged period of time. With despair, when the event that triggered it has gone away, more upbeat moods eventually follow. This is not so with depressive episodes.
With teens it’s not easy to identify the symptoms. During this time period of their lives, they are bombarded with hormonal transformations, libido, peer pressure, academic constraints and athletic pressures. Any one of these could lead to the common signs that are shown during depression: mood swings, irritability, anxiety and anger.
